Socrates, designed by Garcés-Soria and Escofet, is simple seating block with precise geometric form and a crisp polished finish. It can be used to organize space and direct the flow of pedestrians through the rhythm of its arrangements. Its rectilinear mass sits on a low plinth that is hidden from view, making Socrates appear to float.
