International electronics manufacturer Samsung was attracted to the natural, park-like setting of 8.5 acres in Mountain View, California, for its research headquarters. The campus features open spaces and pathways meandering among the two office buildings and parking structures, and encourage employees to spend time working and relaxing outdoors. The Samsung R&D Institute America campus is also open to the public.
San Francisco-based landscape architecture firm, Guzzardo Partnership, selected Hi-Glo area lights and Lo-Glo path lights for their sleek, contemporary design, fitting companions to the campus’s modern architecture. The lighting also supports the environmental focus of the LEED Platinum office campus with their energy efficiency, high performance, and longevity.
