Mohawk College is a public college of applied arts and technology with three campuses serving about 12,000 full-time and 46,000 continuing education students. IBI Group developed a renewal plan for the Fennel Campus in Hamilton that serves as a guide for the college's ongoing development of built forms and open spaces. The plan's focus on quality, innovation and sustainability is reflected in the Centre for Entrepreneurship, Learning and Innovation where high-efficiency Hi-Glo LED pedestrian lights from the Metro40 Collection are the lighting of choice. The initial installation of Hi-Glo lights in 2010 has been followed over the past five years by three additional installations as campus development continues. In addition to providing exceptional lighting performance, Hi-Glo has contributed to LEED Gold certification for the building and landscapes.
