A Fusion of Minimalism and Performance with Moment
"With Moment, we are embracing the beauty of fundamental shapes to redefine how lighting can harmonize with diverse environments"
Yonoh Creative Studio was founded in 2006 by industrial designers Clara del Portillo and Alex Selma, and based in Valencia, Spain.
Finding inspiration in the elemental interplay of straight lines, perfect circles, and conical shapes, the minimalist profile of Moment finds expression in sculptural luminaires that are artistic and practical.
The product of a collaborative design effort between Landscape Forms and Yonoh Creative Studios based in Valencia, Spain, Moment answers the call for modern versatility, presenting a streamlined and unadorned silhouette that effortlessly complements any public-space environment.
The collection presents a simplified modern aesthetic that carries through an array of pole height and mounting configurations, including single, back to back, or staggered and spiral for accent and area lighting, in addition to catenary and wall-mounted configurations.
"Moment exemplifies the power of elegant design, utilizing basic geometries that bring harmony and a sense of order to outdoor spaces," says Landscape Forms President of Lighting Jordan Agustin. "It's precision with purpose, answering the need for a modern solution across multiple use cases that adds interest to the environment rather than being its central focus.”
The versatility of Moment is epitomized in its extensive range of configurations. The sleek, modern aesthetic is echoed through diverse pole heights and mounting styles, including single, paired, or staggered setups for both area and accent lighting, complementing its catenary and wall-mounted designs. Moment offers a balance between aesthetic simplicity and lighting performance—boasting various roadway and accent distribution types, with outputs reaching up to 10,000 lumens, and optional features like a hexcell louvre for glare control.
"Partnering with Yonoh allowed us to integrate fresh design perspectives into our portfolio," notes Landscape Forms Director of Design Ryan Heiser. "Their expertise in silhouette and detail perfectly complemented our intentions with the line, achieving an ideal balance of form and function."
Heiser says both teams worked hard to eliminate non-essential details, including the integration of fasteners and hardware, resulting in an uninterrupted visual profile. “The Moment line exemplifies clarity and cohesiveness,” he says. “We actively listen and respond to the needs of the lighting and landscape design communities. Our focus on balancing aesthetic simplicity with robust performance was one of our primary goals here.”
"Moment is a quiet champion of its environment, enhancing spaces with its presence rather than overpowering them," says Jordan Agustin. "By elevating the spaces they inhabit, Moment transforms them into vibrant, more engaging locations designed for living, experiencing, and enjoyment."
The collaboration between Yonoh Creative Studios and Landscape Forms that finds expression in the Moment line not only brings an exciting new product to market, it exemplifies both companies’ shared pursuit of excellence and innovation, and their commitment to providing modern solutions that enliven the vitality of the outdoor urban experience.
