Twig
Part of the Escofet line
Twig—designed by Alexander Lotersztain for Escofet—is a modular bench system made of reinforced concrete, available with or without a back. The freestanding three-armed pieces create branch-like formations, and the gently curved back offers a comfortable resting point. A series of joined benches become meeting places in public spaces or borders that connect paved and green spaces.

Leading healthcare enterprise Centene Corporation’s sprawling headquarters in the upscale suburb of Clayton, MO, includes several buildings and outdoor plazas, but the campus, developed in phases, lacked a cohesive aesthetic and the plazas were experiencing drainage issues. A multiyear redesign of the campus, coined Centene End to End, aimed to unify the campus experience from one end to the other with streetscape improvements, walkways, and functional, beautiful plazas.
