Sorella is the lovely Italian word for “sister” and an apt name for this attractive family of planters. They're related in their steel construction and softly curved rectilinear profile, complementary in their individual shapes and sizes. Simple and elegant, Sorella offers a uniquely broad vocabulary of elements for outdoor or indoor greenery.

Charleston, the South Carolina city founded in 1670, is known for its cobblestone streets, horse-drawn carriages, and antebellum houses. The city takes historic preservation seriously, particularly in the renovation of historic buildings, so when Madison Capital Group (MCG) began development of a multi-family residential building in the Charleston peninsula, preservation was foremost for the building deemed a historic structure.

Compton partnered with Landscape Forms’ Studio 431 to create “a feature moment” in the form of custom swings. The swings, wide enough to comfortably fit two people, feature bright teal canopies that grab the attention of people walking and driving along the street.
