Northport Area Light

Designed By Robert A.M. Stern

Part of the Northport collection

The Northport area light is a modern homage to the acorn streetlamp so deeply rooted in American design heritage. Rather than a glass globe, the “acorn” form subtly appears in the negative space at the top of each luminaire. Inside, an optional LED element recalls gas lamps or early filament bulbs, inspiring nostalgic connections and reinforcing the sense of place.
